Tennis season doesn't stop when the weather changes. 🎾

Permanent Court Time is now available for the 2026–2027 indoor season at Longmont Athletic Club.

Reserve the same court, on the same day, at the same time each week throughout the season for your group and enjoy consistent indoor play all fall and winter long.

Thinking about swim lessons this summer? 🏊‍♀️

Our private lessons give kids the space to learn at their own pace, build confidence in the water, and actually enjoy the process. Whether they’re just getting comfortable or working on technique, our instructors meet them where they’re at.

Our head swim instructor, Kellyn, has been teaching at LAC since 2000 and is WSI certified. She leads our swim program with a focus on strong fundamentals, safety, and making lessons fun for every kid. This year, she’s expanding the program with an additional instructor, allowing us to support both younger swimmers and those at a more advanced, swim team level.

Private Swim Lessons Are Coming Up! 🏊‍♂️☀️

With warmer weather around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get kids confident and safe in the water! Private swim lessons are coming up soon, and they’re one of the best ways for swimmers to build skills quickly.

In a private lesson, swimmers get one-on-one attention, which means instruction is tailored specifically to their ability level. Whether a child is just learning to be comfortable in the water or working on stroke technique, private lessons allow them to progress at their own pace without distractions.

Some of the biggest benefits of private lessons:

LAC started in 1977 with a single dad and his three young daughters. JR built more than a gym, he built a community that has now stood the test of time for 48 years. 🏔️💪

Twenty five years ago, his daughter Laura took over and still runs Longmont Athletic Club today. She grew up here. The gym was her playground, with one simple rule: don’t go past the front doors. Some of our members remember those days, and many have been part of LAC long enough to see generations pass through these same rooms.

Families have worked here, grown up here, reached milestones here, and formed real connections. This is the kind of place where people know each other’s names, families, and goals. Where accountability comes from community, not pressure. ❤️

In a fitness world that often chases a picture perfect look, LAC has stayed true to what fitness really is. A lifelong pursuit built on consistency, discipline, and grit. It is not always shiny or polished, and that’s exactly the point. Our walls, equipment, and spaces hold stories. There is beauty in that.

The start of a new year brings reflection and gratitude for the journey that led us here. We are incredibly grateful for our LAC family and the legacy that continues to grow. Here’s to new goals, shared strength, and carrying this story forward into 2026. 🌟

Here’s a small tour of the spaces our members call home. We’ve got a little bit of everything at LAC. Big rooms, small rooms, and rooms you don’t even notice until someone casually points and says “oh yeah, that’s over there.”

It’s old-school in all the best ways — full of character, history, and plenty of space to move, lift, swim, stretch, or find your own corner.
