Come explore the Haunted Golf Course in the daylight, take a closer look at the scenes, uncover more of the story behind Camp Bloodwood, and chat with our camp counselors about how we brought it all to life!

🌲👻 Even Mother Nature seems to know when it’s time to visit Camp Bloodwood!

Despite all this rain, we’ve been lucky enough to catch a break in the weather just in time for our evening tours. And our campers have been having a frighteningly good time!

🌲 Camp Bloodwood is going dark tonight.

Due to continued stormy conditions, the Haunted Golf Course will be closed this evening, October 25.

But the mystery doesn’t stop there…

One question keeps coming up as guests finish their journey through Camp Bloodwood: “So, who did it?”

We went back into the woods after the storm and found something interesting.

The Haunted Golf Course will be closed Monday, October 26, as our camp counselors take a well-deserved evening off before the final stretch of spooky season!

🌲 CAMP BLACKWOOD: THE STORY BEHIND THE BLOODWOOD MYSTERY 🩸

It was supposed to be a place where summer memories were made.

Established in 1958, Camp Blackwood welcomed generations of campers to the woods of the Long Beach Peninsula. Campfires, canoeing, archery, and friendships that were supposed to last a lifetime.

But not everyone came home.

Over the years, strange incidents, unexplained disappearances, and whispers about the Blackwood family began to cast a shadow over the once-beloved summer camp.

The community demanded answers. Authorities investigated. Newspapers reported. But the mystery remained.

By the summer of 1986, Camp Blackwood was determined to reopen with a fresh start and a brighter future.

🔎 But, what really happened to the missing campers?

🌲 Who—or WHAT—is lurking in those woods?

🏚️ And what does the Blackwood family have to do with it all?

That’s where YOU come in.

The Haunted Golf Course isn’t just a spooky ride through the trees. It’s a mystery, and we’re inviting you to become part of the investigation.

Explore the camp. Meet the suspects. Examine the evidence. And help our very trustworthy camp counselors figure out what happened. 👀

🎃 WHAT AN OPENING NIGHT AT CAMP BLOODWOOD! 🌲👻

To everyone who joined us for our very first night of the Haunted Golf Course, THANK YOU!

What an absolute delight it was to hear the laughter, the excited chatter, the occasional screech, and a few very impressive screams echoing through the trees! 😂 We had just as much fun bringing Camp Bloodwood to life as you did exploring it!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers! ❤️ You didn’t just show up… you went ALL OUT! The characters, the scares, the laughs, and all the little surprises along the way made the experience something truly special. We couldn’t have done it without you!

And can we give Mother Nature a round of applause? 👏 Not only did she spare us the cold, but she decided to join the cast by rolling in some perfectly spooky fog! Apparently, Camp Bloodwood has its own special effects department. 🌫️
