REGATTA ALERT! Windsurfer LT Class for the ABYC Labor Day Regatta this Saturday (9/5) is still open. Now's your chance for last minute registration at abyc.org/regattas. Racers can sign up for post-regatta dinner at a discount during online registration, which closes Thursday (9/3) at 6pm.

Today is the day! The West Coast Windsurfer LT Regatta has arrived! The following is a general timeline of this weekend's events:

Saturday 8/29
10-11:45am Registration and check-in
11am Racing clinic for beginners and review for skilled sailors
12pm Skipper's meeting and lunch break*
12:30-3pm Relay and slalom races
3:30pm Long distance tour around Naples Island

*Lunch is provided on Saturday and is included with registration

Sunday 8/30

10:30-11:45am Final check-in and last minute registration
12pm Skipper's meeting and lunch break*
1pm First start of the first race (max. 5 races, no throwouts).
5pm Awards and raffle

*Lunch is not provided or included for Sunday. Light snacks and water will be available

This weekend is the West Coast Windsurfer LT Regatta!

Registration is still open and charter boards are still available.
Friday, August 28th is the last day to reserve a charter board.
Sail numbers are required and are availble for purchase.

Classes: Windsurfer LT (includes original windsufer boards), heavy-weight, lighht-weight, novice, and youth.

Saturday lunch is included with registration, award ceremony on Sunday include a raffle.

Twilight Tuesdays have been a long standing summer tradition to enjoy when the afternoon winds pick up and the sun sets later. It's a free community event at Alamitos Bay, starting at 3pm. Bringing your own gear is encouraged, but if you're new to the sport we can provide a quick dryland intro to those interested. See you down at the bay!
