The Lions season ends tonight, as we fall to top seed Calamus Wheatland, 91-41.

With the end of our season, this ends the careers of 6 Lion seniors:
John Daufeldt
Cade Willoz
Dom Garcia
Kaden Sojka
Gray Spilman
Reece Holbrook

These seniors may have ended things on a sour note, but sooner than later, they will be able to reflect and be proud of their careers and the way they've represented Lone Tree CSD.

After a final home game resulting in a win, the Lions will play tonight vs top seed Calamus Wheatland on the road. We have been playing quality basketball at the right time and hope to carry momentum on the road trip tonight.

Congrats to Tate Nelson and the coaching staff on qualifying for State Wrestling!
Way to go, Tate!

Congratulations to sophomore Tate Nelson, who QUALIFIED for the STATE wrestling tournament with a 2nd place finish at 285 in the 1A district meet in Lisbon this afternoon!!

Nelson pinned opponents in the quarterfinal and semifinal matches to reach the district championship! Congrats to Trenton McKean, who also had two pins on the way to a 3rd place finish at 106! Cole Walmsley and Jackson Bandow each had a win in the district meet as well. We are proud of you! Go Lions!!

The Lions defend their home court in the district opening round, defeating Belle Plaine 85-51. 6 guys scored in double figures, led by Reece Holbrook’s 16 points. It was a team effort from start to finish, but the path only gets harder, as we will travel to Calamus Wheatland on Monday, the top seeded team in our district.

We’ve won our last two games playing the style we want to play and hope to stay hot moving forward.

The Lions will host the opening district round vs Belle Plaine, beginning at 7 PM. We were able to get a win and some momentum heading into postseason play and hope to send these 6 seniors off with a win in their final game at the Lion’s Den.
