What can I expect from a REDZONE Fitness class? REDZONE Fitness workouts are designed to push your limits, challenge your body, and find YOUR zone. The workouts incorporate a mix of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with a focus on both cardio and strength training. Expect dynamic and fast-paced sessions that keep you engaged and motivated throughout. The classes utilize a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowers, dumbbells, benches, TRX systems, BOSU trainers, and more to ensure a full-body workout. The upbeat atmosphere and adrenaline-pumping music create an energetic environment to help you push through the challenging exercises.
2. Will I be able to make it through ANY of the REDZONE Fitness classes or should I just hang out on the couch and watch Netflix? REDZONE Fitness classes have been redesigned for ALL fitness levels. Instructors will be happy to provide beginner level exercises and modifications if needed. Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace and ability, with the coaches’ instructions—not necessarily at the level or pace of the person next to them who may have been coming for a longer period. Netflix is cool too though.
3. Are REDZONE coaches intimidating? The coaches DO NOT yell; they encourage and challenge you to be the best possible version of yourself. Think of them as your biggest cheerleader! Cardio is 80% mental and 20% physical. That 80% mental is developed because of our coaches.
4. What is the REDZONE Bootcamp class? A fun and fast paced, full-body 60-minute workout that combines cardio (without the use of treadmills, except maybe some sprints occasionally), strength training, plyometric training, and speed exercises. The class format utilizes TABATA, a type of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that involves performing an exercise at maximum intensity for a set amount of time, followed by a period of rest for half the amount of time (for example, 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest). This cycle is repeated eight times for a total of four minutes, but workouts can include one or more sets. The class utilizes a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowers, bikes, dumbbells, benches, TRX systems, BOSU trainers, slam balls, ROGUE jump boxes, and more to ensure a full-body workout. The goal is to build strength and endurance, and bootcamp workouts can help people lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, and get into a regular exercise routine.
5. How do I sign up for my first class? You must sign up in advance online through the PushPress app (find at the app store) as space is limited. All transaction will take place through the PushPress app.
6. What should I bring? First and foremost, YOURSELF, after all showing up is truly half of the battle. Secondly, you are encouraged to bring your own water (hydration is very important!) and towels, as these are not provided at this time in the studio. We do have a water cooler dispenser to rehydrate as well. There are dedicated changing areas for your use before and after your workout as well as areas to store your personal belongings. We do provide hair dryers and elastics (and mirrors!), all the toiletry bells and whistles including hand wash and lotion, q-tips, and deodorant for your use in our bathrooms.
7. Can REDZONE be the only workout I do? REDZONE Fitness is a comprehensive one-stop shop for all your fitness goals and needs. We offer “REDZONE”, a full-body workout with body area-focused days and core work in each class. In addition to our traditional “REDZONE” workout, we offer Saturday SWEAT, REDZONE partner workouts, REDZONE Bootcamp and REDZONE stretch+flow classes periodically. By the end of the week, you will have worked your full body through strength, cardio, and stretching exercises.
8. How often should I REDZONE? An optimal number of weekly classes to see visible results is three per week. However, it is important to listen to your body—if you are feeling sore or tired, make sure to recover and return to YOUR ZONE when you are ready.
9. Do I have to be a good runner? Stay calm if you are not a runner. You do not have to be “good” to start running. In your first few REDZONE classes, choose a pace that feels safe but challenging for you. While our coaches will be pushing you, remember you will be the one pushing the buttons on the treadmill panel. If you really do not want to run at all, walk! After all, this is YOUR ZONE, YOUR WORKOUT.
10. Is there an age limit to attend a REDZONE Fitness class? Participants must be 16 years of age or older. If a participant is less than 18 years of age we ask that they are accompanied by their guardian.
11. How do I cancel my REDZONE Fitness membership (but why would you want to?)? We hate to see you leave the ZONE, but should you wish to cancel your membership, please email [email protected] with the request or submit a request through our app. If you choose to email us, please include your name, contact information, and the date you would like the membership canceled.
12. What if I have questions or comments? Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the ZONE, please email [email protected]. We will do our best to respond as soon as possible.
13. Does Redzone Fitness offer childcare? Unfortunately, childcare is not offered at Redzone Fitness. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Due to safety reasons, children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the studio during class hours.
14. What if I must cancel my reservation for a class? If you cancel your reservation within an hour of the class, you will lose that class. If a last-minute cancellation is unavoidable, please contact us at [email protected].
15. When can I book my reservations for Redzone classes? Reservations for classes at Redzone Fitness can be made two weeks in advance. In other words, the class opens two weeks before reservations can be made.
16. What happens if a class is at capacity, and I would like to attend? At Redzone Fitness, everyone who wants to attend a class should get the chance. However, space is limited, but we have remedied that with the waitlist feature offered on our app. The waitlist feature automatically notifies members when they are moved from the waitlist to the class. How the waitlist works:
1. When a class is full, members can join the waitlist.
2. Set your notification preference (text or email).
3. If a spot opens up, you will receive a notification based on your chosen preference.
4. The member is automatically registered for the class.
