Finally got our first top 5 of the year. Probably should’ve ran a little better than 5th but messed around for too long. Still a pretty good night, 4th quick overall in hotlaps, won the heat from 3rd, and went 4 to 5 in the feature. Proud of myself and all my guys. Thank you to all of our great partners it wouldn’t be possible without you! Onto next week, speedweek tune up💪

Finally had a little bit of good luck on our side last night. Started the night off 9th quick in our flight. Started 5th in the heat and ran 5th. Started 17th in the feature and ended up 10th. I think grandpa jeff would be proud the way I rolled the bottom! Definitely think we had a car to finish 8th in those last 2 laps but started to run out of fuel. After the year we’ve had, I’ll take a top 10.

On a different note, rest easy grandpa jeff. You will be and already are missed by so many. Keep an eye on all of us down here, love you and miss you❤️.

I can’t thank my guys enough for giving me a great car last night! Excited to get back to it this weekend.

Morgan cup with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series has come to an end. Unfortunately Friday night our motor just didn’t have enough so we decided to save the car and loaded up after the heat race. Saturday morning the guys changed motors and we were set to try again. Set a solid lap down in time trials leaving us 10th quick in our flight. Started 5th in the heat and ran 6th. That started me 6th in the B. Ran 5th for a while and just didn’t get to the top quick enough and ended up 6th missing the feature by 2. All in all, a great learning weekend for me and the team. We will regroup and try again next Friday! Huge thanks to dave at Penske Racing Shocks for getting us set up this weekend.
