My client Leigha and I tested out the NABOSO splay during our Pilates sessions this week.

Our takeaways:

✨Increased contact with the entire foot on the apparatus

✨No foot or toe cramping

✨Increased awareness and control through every movement

✨Stronger stability and support

The splay helps the toes spread naturally improving foot activation and stability for balance, alignment, and control through every movement.

If you’re not ready to try them at the studio, grab a pair to wear at home 😉

COMMON MISTAKES:

❌allowing lower back to sag in planks and dead bugs which strains the lumbar spine.
❌ holding your breath instead of deep diaphragmatic breaths which restricts deep core muscle engagement.
❌rushing reps which reduces muscle tension and relies on momentum rather than muscular effort.
❌improper pelvic positioning can cause lower back pain

HOW TO FIX IT:
✅ focus on resisting motion - planks, bird dogs, pallid press
✅ brace properly like you are about to be “punched” and maintaining a neutral spine
✅exhale during the hardest part of the movement
✅ slow your reps down
