What a spring & summer. What a team. 💙🥎

As we close our first 16U season as Fury Premier 2028-Winchell, we couldn't be prouder of this group and everything they managed to accomplish together.

This team went out and competed against some of the best teams and organizations in the country, and once again proved they belonged, racking up 38 wins to 24 loses, always in tourneys that hosted some of the toughest 16 & 18U teams in the country.

A few highlights from an incredible summer:
🏆 Runner-Up — PGF Independence Day Showcase
🔥 Top 8 — PGF Super Grand (41 teams)
💪 Top 12 — Scenic City Traditional (122 teams)
⭐ Top 16 — Legacy Showcase (64 teams)
🏅 T17 — PGF Nationals Platinum (92 teams)
🥈 Runner-Up — Diamond Diva Classic

***We continue to be a high-level 16U program with demonstrated results against strong regional and national competition, built around competition, development, preparation, and collegiate exposure.***

And what makes us even more proud of this group is the resiliency they showed while navigating a bunch of unforeseen challenges. Throughout the season, we dealt with injuries, players being unavailable at different times, lineup changes, and plenty of other atypical happenstances that could have easily derailed them (IYKYK).

Instead, these girls kept showing up, adapting, competing, and finding ways to get better. There were times when we had to adjust on the fly, and times when things certainly didn't go exactly as planned (“that’s softball”), but this team never stopped fighting for one another.

The adversity was real, but so was the growth and maturity. Everything this group experienced this season will make them stronger, individually and as a team. We saw tremendous growth from March through Nationals, and they are definitely a battle-tested club ready for the Fall.

Proud of every one of you. Keep working. Keep believing. Keep pushing.

This is the tournament we’ve been working toward all year. With this being many of the players first trip to Huntington Beach it’s time to get excited, enjoy every moment, and make memories they’ll never forget.
