🎉 Texas, we love you! 🎉
Can you believe it? This month marks 6 years since we made the move to the Lone Star State, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing community.
Our journey started in 2004, took us through 15 years of teaching in Nevada, and even included a brief stint building a dojo in Central America. But by May 2020, we felt a calling to plant our roots right here in Liberty Hill, Texas. In February 2021, Urban Defense Academy officially opened its doors (right before the Ice-pocalypse! )
We’ve evolved a lot since then! To give you the absolute best experience, we split our passions into two specialized tracks:
Shin Gan Dojo: Dedicated to passing on traditional roots of Japanese Ninpo Taijutsu and Jujutsu, with focus on modern readiness.
Urban Defense Academy: Exclusively focused on top-tier fi****ms training, realistic crisis management, and building the mindset to protect what matters most.
At the end of the day, we do this because we believe in freedom, safety, and your innate right to protect your loved ones. We aren't just teaching skills; we're offering peace of mind.
