A lot of activity right now for the Eastern Pacific. We’ve got a steady stream of tropical activity as well as a large Southern Hemisphere swell. Most areas in Central America, Mexico, and the US West Coast will some significant swell energy in the near future future.

We are stoked to announce the addition of the entire Caribbean to our surf forecasts location list!

Today we pushed an update years in the making to improve our surf height predictions based on comparing the Surf Captain wave model data to buoy data. This update will correct the wave model biases and provide a more accurate forecast for locations with buoys nearby.

Surf Captain Gulf Coast forecast locations have been reconfigured. We took the 23 existing locations and converted them into 37 forecast locations.

We are stoked to announce the release of Surf Captain Canada Surf Forecasts 🇨🇦. Last Fall we launched the Atlantic Canada forecasts, and we have now added locations in British Columbia and the Great Lakes on Ontario.
