Here are some highlights from the 6th graders' tournament this weekend. Its been a battle for them all Spring/Summer but they still putting in work to get better.

Lawton Elite 7th graders went 3-1 this weekend by coming up short in the championship game. This really is a special group and once we really get everyone comfortable with their role; we are going to be scary to see on any court.

He is known for his elite shot-blocking and versatile offensive game. He is a good rim protector who uses his length and timing to alter shots and control the paint. He has been a key fixture in alot of the team wins. As he develops more as a Big man with this group, we will be an Elite problem for other teams.

Today our 7th grade team got a real challenge as we played a descent 8th grade group in the 7th/8th championship game. As a coach, we gained alot of data from this game. The energy in the gym was electric on for both side. Seeing the hunger in our boys to compete with this older group was beyond great. We had to remind our team we made too many small mistakes to only loose by 3 in overtime to a mostly 8th grade group. They had a younger player who played up and he was tough; he was definitely a hand full when he touched the floor. We made teams adjust and regroup all weekend; we are definitely going to be a problem as our chemistry grows!

Anthony Bradford aka Antman

Crazy ball handles, known for his elite court vision, mastery of the pick-and-roll, controlling the tempo and elevating the play of his teammates. Despite his smaller size, he was a relentless defender.

Okay Lawton, lets get behind these young athletes. We are looking for help from the community and families for support. We would like help with new uniforms, new basketballs, practice space and leagues/tournaments. Listed below are some of the bigger tournaments we are looking to do throughout Spring and Summer this year.

🏀National Championship: July 8-12 in OKC/Norman

🏀Jr MTTS Synergy Cup: July 23-26 in OKC

🏀MAYB Nationals: July 30-Aug 2 in Wichita, KS
