Hi folks! Murph is coming up on 28 May. If the weather is decent, we will be at the 75th Fires outdoor track, same as last year.
If it’s either too wet or too hot, we will be inside Goldner.

I am hoping that a few of you may be able to bring a couple items to help. I am looking for a folding table to use at check in, a portable speaker for music, and a portable timer with a decent sized face.

If you are able to contribute any of these items, please let me know! You can track me down at the gym, or let one of my staff know.

Goldner Fitness Center will be operating on holiday hours tomorrow, 15 April. There will be NO 0500 class, but the 1145 class will be on as normal.

Just wanted to get a notice out that Desert Diamond CrossFit will be PCSing in May of this year. Military affiliates follow their owner, but the departure of one affiliate opens the opportunity for another.
Those who posses a CrossFit L1 can apply for a military affiliate through CrossFit's affiliation. This is the perfect time to start an application for a trainer who may want to own an affiliate, as the process takes some time. There are specific rules associated with military affiliates that make them different than others, which are outlined upon application.
The great news is that functional fitness does not follow a distinct brand, and Goldner Fitness Center is still the choice facility on Fort Sill.
We are still around for a couple of months and look forward to seeing CF continue at Goldner and Fort Sill!

It’s almost time for the final week of the Open! Meet here Friday at 1800 to get your workout in and have fun with friends.

Next week is spring break and there will be NO classes. This will give our coaches a little time to get refreshed, before we come back on Monday the 21st, ready to prep for Murph! ~Stef

The second workout of the 2022 CrossFit Open is...

Deadlifts and bar-facing burpees in an ascending rep ladder from 1 to 10, then a descend back down to 1— the round of 10 is only done once. With a quick 10 minute time cap, there's no break time in this hinge-heavy workout. 🔥

During today's announcement livestream, Mat Fraser gave the general recommendation "for the average gym goer" to aim to go unbroken through the round of 7, then have a plan to pace the rounds of 8-9-10-9-8. For the elites? "There's no pacing here for those guys. It's just go."

1145-1245 Monday-Friday

We have a limited coaching staff, and these are the only classes we can offer at this time. Interested in volunteering? We are always actively seeking those with a CF-L1 or higher with a passion for helping others. If that’s you, stop by Goldner Fitness Center!
