📣 Let's hear it for Lancaster cross country's Kylie Olmstead and Maddie Driscoll!

👟 Kylie and Maddie were recently celebrated by the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association (WCCCA) for their accomplishments in the classroom and on the field of competition.

👏 Kylie, a senior, and Maddie, a sophomore, were both named to the WCCCA Academic All-State team.

🍏 Academic All-State honors are awarded to individuals who qualify for the state cross country meet and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher for 10th, 11th and 12th graders, and for ninth graders who have a 3.5 GPA at the end of the first quarter.

☝️ Maddie was also named 2025 WCCCA District 5 Girls Athlete of the Year! District 5 consists of 65 schools in Southwest Wisconsin.

📣 Three cheers for Lancaster cross country's Maddie Driscoll, who earned 2025 Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association All-State honors!

🏅 Maddie, a sophomore, earned first team accolades. Her 18:27 finish in the 2025 WIAA Division 2 cross country championship was the 10th fastest time at this year's state championships, across all divisions.

☝️ Maddie is the first Lancaster cross country student-athlete to earn All-State first team status!

🙌 Congratulations, Maddie! We are proud of you!

🗣 It's championship Saturday, Flying Arrows!

👟 Kylie Olmstead and Maddie Driscoll of the Lancaster girls cross country team and Marshall Harris of the Lancaster boys cross country team will compete at today's WIAA cross country championships at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.

🕛 Marshall will compete in the Division 3 race at noon. Kylie and Maddie will compete in the Division 2 race at 2:25 p.m. PT Timing will be providing updates from the course during all races, here: https://www.pttiming.com/event.php?mid=2499&pt=schedule.

🎟 The cross country championships feature online admission only. Admission can be purchased by visiting the following link: https://gofan.co/app/school/WIAA2. Tickets are $9 (plus fees). No cash will be accepted.

🚙 All spectators will be shuttled by bus to The Ridges. Shuttle locations are at Wisconsin Rapids High School (1801 16th Street South) and the Grand Rapids Lions Club (2411 36th Street South).

🚌 There is a $10 parking fee per vehicle for parking at Wisconsin Rapids High School and the Grand Rapids Lions Club, the two shuttle sites. There will be no charge to board the buses and shuttle to and from The Ridges. Also, people entering The Ridges parking lot using their handicapped tags will also be required to pay a $10 parking fee (must have ADA hangtag or license plate).
