Lamesa Municipal Golf Course Members, Golfers & Citizens of Lamesa:

You are encouraged to attend tonight’s Joint Special Called Meeting of the Lamesa City Council and the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course Advisory Board.

A major item on the joint agenda is:

“Discuss the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course and the powers and duties of the Lamesa Municipal Advisory Golf Board as outlined in Section 1.09 of the City of Lamesa Code of Ordinances.”

If you are a dues-paying member, a golfer who pays green fees and tournament fees, or simply a citizen of Lamesa who cares about the future of our municipal golf course, we encourage you to attend.

This is an opportunity to hear firsthand the discussion between the City Council and Golf Advisory Board regarding the golf course, the role of the Advisory Board, and the direction moving forward.

The Lamesa Municipal Golf Course is a publicly owned community asset, and its future matters to the golfers, taxpayers, volunteers, businesses, tournament sponsors and citizens who support it.
