✝️ MONDAY VERSE. NO FEAR. 😤

This verse carries so much more weight when you understand the context behind it. 👇

The author, Paul, wrote this line as part of his second letter to Timothy. But here’s where it gets heavy. Paul is writing this letter while imprisoned by the Roman Empire…and even moreso…with the real possibility of his own death looming.

And yet he writes to Timothy, “God has not given us a spirit of fear.” NO FEAR.

Paul knows what’s coming for him in the near future. He knows the difficulties and pain that lie ahead for Timothy. And he knows the struggle to come for the early Christian church. Yet he still says, keep the faith, persevere, and have no fear.

Shortly after writing these words, most scholars agree, Paul was beheaded and executed for his faith. 🤯

So many lessons we can takeaway from Paul’s story, but for this week remember…no matter what you are confronted with, GOD IS WITH YOU. Persevere, keep the faith, and have no fear. Stand confidently knowing that Jesus has your back…especially in your darkest moments.
