⛳️ PRO TIP TUESDAY ⛳️

This week, Head Golf Professional John Stark demonstrates a simple wedge drill on Hole #11.

This drill encourages a shallower angle of attack while maintaining taller posture through impact, helping eliminate the tendency to get too steep or collapse down toward the ball.

Give this simple drill a try to improve your wedge contact and consistency! 🎯

On September 23rd, we finally got to celebrate 20 years at The Wilderness! 🎉⛳️
It was a great day filled with sharing memories, catching up with friends, and enjoying a round of golf. This celebration was a little delayed after Hurricane Beryl came through two years ago, but it made the occasion even more special to finally celebrate together.

A huge thank you to the City of Lake Jackson and all of our customers for your continued support throughout the years. We’re grateful for the memories, the relationships, and the opportunity to have been part of this community for 20 years.

A special thank you to Shane Pirtle, who was mayor when The Wilderness opened in 2004 and had the honor of hitting the ceremonial tee shot to officially open the golf course. It was great to have him be part of our 20th anniversary celebration.

Here’s to 20 years of memories and many more to come! 🥂⛳️
