Lady Rambler Flag Football had a great time celebrating National Women in Sports Day with our fellow athletes at LHS and our feeder school athletes from Saddle Ridge and LaFayette Middle!

Representing one of the fastest growing sports in the country and the first Flag Football team in Northwest Georgia, we are proud to continue to showcase our athlete’s talents and ambitions through this great sport!

Shoutout to our Senior QB Prezleigh Baty on her outstanding academic achievements and making the GNTC Dean’s List through attending the Walker Launch program! Getting it done in the classroom and on the field!

Congratulations to Prezleigh Baty, Cosmetology major, for making the GNTC Dean's List! 🎉💇🏻‍♀️
She has maintained a GPA of 3.5-3.79 during the semester with a COLLEGE course load of at least 12 credit hours! (She's pretty good on the flag football field too!)

Another round of post-season recognition hit the press today as several members of the Lady Rambler Flag Football team were recognized as members of the Catoosa-Walker Dream Team!

The following players were named Walker County Players of the Year:

-Senior Quarterback Prezleigh Baty, Walker County Offensive Player of the Year

-Senior Linebacker Sadie Gill, Walker County Co-Defensive Player of the Year

-Junior Rusher Ashley Perdomo, Walker County Co-Defensive Player of the Year

The following players were named 1st team dream team members:

-Sophomore Running Back & Cornerback Emma Brown

-Junior Center Paisley Johnson

-Senior Linebacker Scout Taylor

-Senior Wide Receiver & Safety Lexi Underwood

Lastly, the following players were named 2nd team dream team members:

-Junior Safety Alexa Cannon

Lady Rambler Flag Football had a great day spending time with the Gilbert Elementary 5th grade students and teachers in the 1st Annual Gilbert Gator Giving Bowl as a part of GES’ Month Of Giving! We had so much fun coaching up this great group of future Ramblers!

The 2025 LHS Lady Rambler Flag Football season came to a close tonight going 1-1 tonight against Heritage and Ringgold!

In game 1, a steady rain stayed for most of the game. The Lady Ramblers would have some offense success and some defensive success, but it was ultimately not enough and would fall to the host Lady Generals 28-7.

Game 2 was an absolute thriller! In a game that had multiple different lead changes, after a couple of huge 4th-down conversions, the Lady Ramblers would score with a little over 30 seconds later! Then, the defense would hold Ringgold on 4 straight downs to seal the game with a 25-24 win!

Also, prior to the start of game 1 with Heritage, the 2 teams came together to offer support for each other in the wake of tragic events for both of our schools and communities in the last couple of weeks and months! Although we are opponents on the field, we all come together when in matters the most. As Heritage and other schools were there for us, we were glad to be there for them tonight.

And so, with the results tonight, the Lady Ramblers end the season with an overall record of 4-9 and 2-5 in the region, falling 1 win shy of a state tournament appearance! We would like to thank all of LHS Administrators, Faculty, Staff, and Students for their support this season! And thank you Rambler Nation for all your support all season long! It is truly an honor to represent our school and community!

FINAL SCORES:

The Lady Rambler Flag Football varsity and JV squads were in action tonight as they hosted Fannin County!

In the Varsity game, the Lady Ramblers would score on an Emma Brown rushing touchdown and extra point, which was set up by a huge reception from Lexi Underwood. Later in the game, Prezleigh Baty would find Anabelle Penland for a touchdown. Lexi Underwood had 2 interceptions on the night, and Scout Taylor, Sadie Gill, and Ashley Perdomo flew around the field making tackles all night. But in the end it wasn’t enough, as the Lady Ramblers dropped the game 27-13.

In the JV game, Malley Miller had a great game running the ball, and Falyn Martin had a huge game receiving. Averie Fitzgerald, Shaunice Koken, and Molly Mchugh had great games on defense, but the JV team would fall 25-0.

The Lady Ramblers are back in action in the regular season finales at Heritage against the host Lady Generals and Ringgold! Two huge region games with postseason implications on the line! Let’s Go Lady Ramblers!
