Working to get the Jefferson University Men’s Basketball Team right both physically and MENTALLY 🧠. It was just like old times, with the help of my son Joey DeMalavez jr. We have them coming in this Saturday again as well! This is work! Strong mind 🧠!…………When you do enough of the little things, BIG things CAN happen! Identify the controllables, cause you have to fu**in compete, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Do the work! The real work you know it takes to achieve. Have a look back periodically and celebrate the wins. Then, look at the mountain ahead of you…….and KEEP FU**IN GOING!!!

With all of the Friday night busy happy hours going on throughout the city and suburbs, I am blessed that the Joltin Jabs happy hour was packed as well. This morning(Saturday), is even busier. 8AM Private, 9AM class, 10AM Private with the Jefferson University Mens Basketball Team. GOD is good 🙏🏽……………

Monday morning 6AM. What are you gonna do?………Whatever you are doing in life, the constant pursuit of “more/better” leaves us feeling never truly enough as is. Looking to be perfect, is ALWAYS the enemy of good! When you are in pursuit of being perfect, you hinder your ability to experience joy! Perfection isn’t real, but WE are! Progression is real, strive for progression. Sure you can still be the best you can be, but you won’t become your best unless the PROCESS itself is a fun thing to do……Success without joy, will never be true success!!! 🧠 ⚡️ 🥊

5AM CLASS……Sure it’s a fu**ing commitment! You either want to do this or you don’t! Start your day fu**in EARLY! Get up, get your body moving, release those endorphins, and drink your fu**in water. Puerto Rico oh, Puerto Rico oh,

Yes, I am Puerto Rican and Polish. Sounds like r**e, LOL! I am so PROUD of my heritage. My father is an immigrant with a 6th grade education from Puerto Rico, and my mother is Polish! Besides my good looks, I am who I am because of what they passed down to me. They gave to me what I feel are the MOST IMPORTANT things in life. The Immigrant Mentality:……which is FAMILY(my sons are my world), that HARD WORK ETHIC; looking every possible way for opportunities and being a “go getter.” PASSION and finding purpose, to leaving that lasting legacy. RESPECT; to the elders and to everybody else around. PRIDE; being the BEST you can be, fighting for what is right and for what you believe in. RELIGION; I am Catholic, and I pray to GOD, Jesus Christ(the son), and the Holy Spirit three times a day when things are good and bad. I pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary(Our Lady of Victory). I use to pray to her before and after EVERY fight kneeling in the corner. And HEART, everyone knows the heart of a Puerto Rican boxer as a warrior. Climbing through those ring ropes, and ready to do battle Mano a Mano, what a feeling, it’s a special feeling! Keep resting easy Miguel and Josephine, Mom and Dad. For my kids that I worked with all summer long. School is starting and so are all of the sports programs as well! You young players want to get better? You need to do these things at every practice or workout!!!

REMEMBER:

1. Be early
2. Get your reps in
3. Go hard
4. ALWAYS look your coach in the eye

Clients who become friends. I know ALL of my clients. I have their phone numbers for work or for pleasure. It ALL starts with a POSITIVE TEAM CULTURE that I create. Not like that fu**in company called ClassPass!…….TEAM CULTURE: I am ALWAYS thinking the best and what is best for my people. I like my people interacting with each other, supporting and sharing experiences. When people see that others care, people get excited to work together and take it to another level. I BELIEVE and expect them to succeed, by giving them the encouragement and the support through my wisdom and my knowledge! Add the BEST Boxing Fitness Workout in America to the mix…….I know they will get the results, and be the BEST they can be.
