Back to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex this weekend for a doubleheader!

After getting our first laps at Sweet Springs a couple weeks ago, we’ve got a better idea of what we need to work on. We’ll be making some changes, trying a few different things, and hopefully finding a little more speed before one of the biggest weekends of our season.

These next two nights are all about learning, improving, and getting this car where it needs to be as we prepare for the Cook Wheelman Classic on August 3rd.

We’re excited to get back on track, keep building our notebook, and see what we can accomplish. Huge thanks to everyone who supports Preston Schmidt Racing and helps make these opportunities possible. See you at the track!

What a night at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex!

With rain in the forecast all day, we weren't even sure we'd get the chance to race, but thankfully Mother Nature gave us a window and we were able to get some laps in at Sweet Springs for the very first time.

The results may not tell the whole story, but this was one of the biggest learning nights I've had behind the wheel. We didn't have much time throughout the night to make changes due to rain in the forecast, so we had to work with what we had and make the best of every lap.

We rolled off P5 in the heat and finished P5, then started P14 in the feature and worked our way forward to finish P11.

While I didn't finish where I hoped to, I consider this a huge win. Every time I hit the track, I'm learning more about what this car is capable of and gaining confidence in trusting the setup. Nights like this are what help build a better driver.

We'll take the lessons learned, keep working, and come back stronger next time. Thank you to everyone who supports this racing journey!

🏁 New Track. New Challenge. Same Goal. 🏁

The Preston Schmidt Racing team is loading up and heading south to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex for the very first time!

We’re excited to hit a new track, learn our way around, and turn some laps against some tough competition. Every new place is a chance to gain experience, improve our program, and have some fun doing what we love.

The weather forecast is showing some rain, and we’re really hoping it stays away. It’s been a rough stretch with rainouts and track cancellations, and we’re ready to finally get back on the track and do some racing.

A huge thank you to all of our family, friends, sponsors, and supporters who make these opportunities possible. We can’t wait to see what Sweet Springs has in store for us.

Wish Preston some luck as he takes on a new track and a new challenge. Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and lets us race! 🏁💪

Bummed is an understatement.

We worked really hard to get this Ten J Adam Performance-powered micro back to the track tonight at Thunder Hill Speedway . Between schedule conflicts and weather-related issues, we’re unfortunately going to arrive too late to hit the track.

It’s frustrating after all the time and effort that went into getting everything ready, but sometimes things just don’t go your way.

We’ll regroup, keep working, and hopefully make it back to Thunder Hill on the 18th for the next micro show. Thanks to everyone who continues to support Preston Schmidt Racing.

Good night at English Creek Speedway for Preston.

Qualified 6th, had a pretty rough heat race, but we made some adjustments for the feature. Preston drove from 16th up to 5th and was making good ground all race long.

Proud of the improvement and looking forward to the next one.
