🏁 PRESTON SCHMIDT RACING | I-44 SPEEDWAY RECAP 🏁

Not the weekend we had hoped for at I-44 Speedway in OKC! We battled engine and mechanical issues all weekend, starting with losing a motor in the winged A-Class car on night one.

Preston had a strong showing in non-wing on night one and qualified well in wing on night two. Unfortunately, more mechanical issues after non-wing qualifying ended our night early.

Despite the setbacks, we showed we have the speed to compete with some of the best in the Midwest! Now we just need to get the equipment sorted out.

A huge thank you to the Timms family for opening up their home and shop to us this weekend. We truly appreciate your hospitality and generosity!

And to our amazing sponsors, thank you for your continued support and belief in Preston and this program. We couldn’t do it without you!

We’re heading home to regroup and hopefully get everything ready for Port City next weekend. With the Tulsa Shootout coming up in January, we’re glad to be finding these issues now rather than later!

Back to work! 🏁
