Last month, the Brixner Powerlifting Club and the powerlifting community here in the Klamath Basin were highlighted in an article by Roger "Rock" Lockridge on the Powerlifting United website.

🚨Brixner Powerlifting Fundraiser🚨

Yesterday at Powerlifting Club, athletes were given raffle tickets and fliers for our Powerlifting fundraiser. We are raffling tickets for brand new AirPods 5 and a $50 Pelican Cinema gift card and $50 gift card donated by Mia & Pia's Pizzeria. We will be drawing winners on October 12th.

The funds raised from the raffle will go towards helping us host our three meets this year, purchasing athlete PL shirts, and purchasing new equipment.

Athletes are required to sell 5 raffle tickets ($5 each). These can be sold to anyone. Athletes that sell 10 will get a student store credit of $10, 20 will get them out of deadbugs for the PL season, 30 and they get to pie Mr. Veloz Espinola in the face at the meet in November, 40+ and they’ll get a free powerlifting hoodie.

The first Brixner Powerlifting meet of the 26-27 school year! The Brixner Powerlifting Club will be competing and it is open to any student grades 7-13. Registration is open, follow the link the comments.

Brixner Powerlifting Club starts Monday 9/21! Brixner Powerlifting Club members do not need to register for this meet.

Brixner Powerlifting is back!

Our fall season will begin on Monday, 9/21 with a meet date of 11/14. Students will need to turn in a signed permission form in order to sign up. Spots are limited and will fill fast. Get your permission forms with Mr. Veloz Espinola in the gym.

At the PLU Crater Lake Clash II, these youth athletes from the Klamath Basin broke a total of 23 Oregon state records! Congratulations to these nine athletes! Records are viewable on the Powerlifting United website. We can’t wait to see how many records are broken next year!
