Even though we have known this since early April, it has taken us a long time to come around and make this post.
This 2026 we hosted our Hudson Valley Tango festival for the last time at the majestic Senate Garage.
The Senate Garage generously opened their doors to us in 2018, 7 out of the 8 editions were held here.
Judy & April managed the senate with class, warmth and outstanding sense of community allowing us to make this space the home for our Festival.
This past April during 3 days the vibe was extreme, the lights, the energy, the design, the music, our guests, the stars… wow! Then we cleaned up… emptied the space and look at it with disbelief. We hugged and in grieving silence we expressed our gratitude and said our goodbyes to the floor that saw us embrace, twirled, laugh, cry of emotion and dream.
In a couple of months the Senate as we know will close and take a different road. As we are saddened to see this place become a memory we look at it as one of the most beautiful and strongest collaboration we have had in Kingston, to grow our ARGENTINE TANGO COMMUNITY.

We are looking at our future with excitement and inspiration as we are moving to Tempo, the new, vibrant and high end space in Kingston, NY. Tempo’s brand new wooden dance floors, lighting and state of the Art sound system are ready to party with us!
