OBX Storm Soccer Club OBX Storm is a non-profit organization offering recreational & competitive youth soccer opportunities The Outer Banks Storm, Inc.

(OBX Storm) exists to:

Foster the development of self-esteem, self-worth, and soccer skills of youth in Dare County;

Remove barriers for playing so every child may have an opportunity to play;

Give opportunities for higher levels of play through challenge soccer teams;

Promote the many social, mental and physical benefits of youth soccer;

Encourage older, and more skilled players to invest ti

me and talent with those at the beginning of their soccer experience;

Recruit and train individuals for coaching development;

Encourage parent and community involvement along with a fuller understanding and appreciation for the sport;

Collaborate with Dare County Parks and Recreation Department and other organizations interested in fostering youth soccer development;

Encourage soccer field development; and,

Give opportunities for people, businesses, and foundations to support the vision of the OBX Storm.

Storm Families,

We need your help keeping the Storm concession stand running during our home game days! ⚽

We’re asking parents, families, and student volunteers to sign up for short shifts in the concession stand throughout the season. Shifts are designed to be easy to fit around your player’s game, and no experience is needed — a Storm board member will be there as the point of contact and will get you set up.

Even better, we’re keeping things simple this season! We anticipate having food trucks at our home games, so the concession stand will primarily sell snacks and drinks — no hot food or cooking.

Our Jr. Stars program is back this fall, designed for players ages 5-12 who want to sharpen their individual skills in a fun, developmentally focused environment. Starting the week of September 7th, players will attend two sessions each week for 8 weeks. The first session of each week zeroes in on a specific skill, while the second puts that skill to the test through small-sided games. It's the perfect way for young players to build confidence and technique while having a blast on the field!

The new 26/27 OBX Storm Puma kits have officially arrived, and we can’t wait to see everyone rocking them this fall!

With only one week left in July, don’t forget to place your uniform order through Soccer.com. These are brand-new kits, so every player will need to order new uniforms.

Previous season kits will not cross over.

Order early to avoid potential backorders and email the club if you’re having trouble accessing your player’s uniform link.

Eligible players must be born between August 1, 2011, and July 31, 2013. Players attending placement must be currently registered for the Fall 2026 season. No exceptions!
