That means taking care of your personal hygiene before stepping on the floor is a must!!

Let’s keep the environment comfortable for everyone putting in the work!

💙 PRAYERS FOR KATE & BLEU 💙

Next time you drive by Outer Banks Sports Club you will see the names of 2 ladies on our marquee that really need your prayers!!

Two members of our community.
Two families going through something unimaginable.

Today, we want to especially lift up .obx

If you’ve ever been around tennis in the Outer Banks… you know Kate.
You’ve seen her on the courts…coaching, encouraging, smiling, pushing people to be better…not just as athletes, but as people.

Kate doesn’t just teach tennis.
She shows up for people.

Quietly. Consistently. Selflessly.

From local players to Special Olympics athletes, she has given so much of herself to this community without ever asking for anything in return.

And now…she needs us.

On what started as a normal morning, everything changed in an instant. A stroke. A blood clot in her brain. A life suddenly turned upside down.

But if you know Kate…you already know this
she’s fighting.

The same determination she brings to the court is now being poured into her recovery. Therapy. Rehab. One step at a time.

It’s going to be a long road.
But she will not walk it alone.

This is where we come in.

This is what makes the Outer Banks special.
We show up.
We support.
We take care of our own.

💙 Please Keep Bleu in Your Prayers 💙

Many of you may have already heard about the terrible accident involving Bleu Mervine earlier this week. Bleu is one of our own — a young member of our gym family, and the daughter of Brian Mervine, who many of us know well.

Bleu was leaving school when a vehicle fleeing police at over 100 mph ran a red light and slammed into the back of her car. The impact destroyed her vehicle and left her trapped inside. By the grace of God, the car didn’t catch fire, it didn’t end up in the canal, and the guardrail — though destroyed — held just enough to prevent something even more tragic.

Her father said the paramedics described it as if a shield was protecting her seat.

Bleu was first taken to Outer Banks Hospital and then transported to Norfolk to the trauma unit. While she has a long road to healing ahead, we are incredibly thankful she is still with us and able to recognize her family.

At Outer Banks Sports Club, we believe our gym is more than a place to work out — it’s a family. Bleu and Brian are part of that family, and right now they need the strength and support of this entire community.

We have Bleu’s name on our marquee tonight because we want her and her family to know that the entire Outer Banks community is standing behind them.

Please keep Bleu in your prayers.
And please keep her family in your hearts as she begins the long road to recovery.

Stay strong Bleu. We are all pulling for you. 💙

We couldn’t be more proud of our OBSC members who stepped on stage at the OCB Virginia Natural Pro/Am Pro Qualifier in Norfolk, VA. The hard work, discipline, and determination each of you put into preparing for this competition truly showed, and the results speak for themselves.
Competing at this level is no easy task, and every single one of you represented OBSC with pride and excellence. You inspire not only your teammates but our entire gym family and community.
From early mornings to late nights, from strict prep to pushing through tough days—you’ve shown what it means to stay committed and chase greatness. Congratulations again on your achievements, and thank you for making us so proud to call you part of !

Tomorrow the Outer Banks Sports Club has not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR amazing athletes competing at the OCB Virginia Natural Pro/Am Pro Qualifier in Norfolk, VA!
We couldn’t be more proud of the hard work, discipline, and dedication these athletes have put in leading up to this big day. This event is not only a Pro Qualifier, but also a stepping stone toward the prestigious 2025 OCB Yorton Cup.
Let’s show .earhart10 and some love and wish them luck as they take the stage and represent the Team OBSC with strength, grit, and passion.

Going on right now since 4:45 pm today, this great cleaning crew has been here at the Outer Banks Sports Club to give it a much needed Deep Clean! They are going on 6 hours and I am so excited to see the final result! We will be upkeeping with the cleaning more often going forward. We appreciate each and every single one of you that walks through our doors whether it’s for a Day or year-round, and so this is the least we can do for you in return. We are very grateful for your continued support. Thank You for being a part of what makes our gym great. Special shoutout to my mom for introducing me to Nelly’s cleaning services and making this happen today.
