Due to the weather and lightning in the area, Water Aerobics is cancelled this morning Saturday August 29th.

Good morning,

Due to lightning in the area, Jacobs Aquatic Center will have a delayed opening this morning.

The facility will remain closed until weather conditions are safe for us to open. I will send another email as soon as the facility is cleared to open.

Did you know your child may qualify for FREE swim lessons through the Florida Department of Health Swimming Lesson Voucher Program?

Jacobs Aquatic Center is proud to be an approved swim lesson provider!

If your family qualifies, the voucher includes:
✅ 8 swim lessons
✅ Certified local swim instructors
✅ Skills that can help save lives

Eligibility includes:
👧 Children ages 1–7
🏠 Florida residents
💙 Families with an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level

Drowning is preventable, and learning to swim is one of the best ways to help keep children safe around water.

Friendly Reminder! Due to after-hours demolition work in our Pirate Pool area this week, we will be adjusting our schedule today, Wednesday August 19th.

Jacobs Aquatic Center will follow our regular operating hours of 8:00 AM–6:00 PM today. As a result, there will be no Extended Lap Swim from 6:00–7:00 PM, and Underwater Hockey is also cancelled for this evening.

These changes are necessary to allow the demolition work to take place safely after the facility closes.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as work continues on the Pirate Pool area.

At this time, we do not anticipate the demolition work affecting next week’s schedule. We will notify members if there are any changes.
