Sanskrit should be taught from day 1 and it should remain a part of our teaching journey, always.

We also learned about the subtle body and it was a gentle reminder that we are made of more than just the outer physical layer. That there is energy (prana) that flows through us and that life things can make it get stuck or stagnant. Our Yoga and Pranayama practice can help clear these blockages so that our energy can flow freely allowing us to feel well balanced.

Sigh, it’s all purposeful, and this is exactly what I’m meant to be doing 🤍

And when we began I remembered it’s not about me.

It’s about sharing the gift of Yoga that has been passed down by generations over thousands of years. It’s about passing the torch unto those who have chosen to learn more, because once you go through this training, yoga will be with you for the rest of your life, whether you teach or not.

It’s about sharing a wisdom that gives us tools to quiet the chatter so that we can to get to know, accept, and love our truest selves.

We just scratched the surface in Week 1 - and already feel like we have learned so much 🤍
