At what point in life does it actually get easier?
Because people always say things like ‘you’re strong’ or ‘everything happens for a reason’ or ‘God doesn’t give you more than you can handle’… but none of that really answers the question when you’re actually in it. And I don’t mean just the bad stuff but day to day functioning, things that should be so simple yet prove to test your patience.
Life doesn’t always feel like it’s building you up. Sometimes it just feels like one thing after another. One storm, then another, then another. And you start wondering if there’s ever a stretch where you’re not bracing yourself for the next hit.
And maybe it’s not even about being strong anymore. Maybe it’s just about how long a person is expected to keep adapting, keep recovering, keep holding things together, before they finally feel like they can just breathe for a while.
Because there are moments where you don’t need motivation. You don’t need a lesson. You don’t need a quote.
You just want life to feel lighter for a while.
And if you’re someone with an empathic kind of soul, it doesn’t even stop there. You don’t just go through things — you feel them deeper. You don’t really know how to turn it off or make it neutral. Everything lands harder. Everything sticks longer. And sometimes that makes it even more exhausting, because you’re not just living life… you’re absorbing it.
And still getting up the next day like you’re supposed to be fine.
Who else just wants to hit the life’s “easy” button once in. While 😆🙌😅🙌🌺. Until then, sit your butt in the sand and take moments for you.
