Laulima literally means many hands and figuratively means cooperation, joint action or a group of people working together. We kicked off the 2026 season with Laulima Day, cleaning and tidying our hale and wa’a before regatta season is in full swing. It was a beautiful day of working together. Mahalo to everyone who showed up, from Keiki kūpuna, to laulima and mālama this place that gives so much to us! This is also an important part of perpetuating our sport. It’s not just the competitive aspect, but the values and community we cultivate, and how we take care of our ʻāina, kai, and each other.
