🎉 WAUMBEK WEDNESDAY IS BACK! 🎉

We can’t wait to take you back in time and share what makes Waumbek Golf such a special part of Jefferson’s history! Dating all the way back to 1895, there is so much history, character, and tradition woven into this beautiful property.

Each Wednesday, we’ll be sharing a little piece of that story through photos from years gone by, historical tidbits, and glimpses of Waumbek today. We hope you’ll enjoy this weekly trip down memory lane as much as we do!

📸 To kick off our series, let’s travel back to 1889!

In 1889, the Waumbek began its transformation from a large boarding house into one of the area’s grandest hotels following its purchase by the Jefferson Hotel and Land Company. The new owners brought in renowned New York architects Carrère and Hastings, adding a whole new level of elegance to the property.

What a wonderful glimpse into Waumbek’s past! We can't wait to share more with you each Wednesday.

The leaves are falling off the trees and we have been experiencing many cool nights, 🥶 so we thought it was only fair for our golf carts to start getting their "winter blankets" on! 🤷‍♂️

We have the carts wrapped in the winter to protect them from severe winter weather, moisture damage, and pests when they are being stored for the off-season.
