The Wildcats are ready to get back to the court this week! The team will travel to Barr-Reeve on Tuesday and host Northeast Dubois on Thursday. Varsity will travel to New Albany on Saturday for tournament play. See you at the gym! Go cats go!

RISE & SHINE - IT’S TOURNEY TIME!

The freshmen will travel to Providence today to play in 4 match tournament! Pool play will begin at 9:00. The Wildcats will play matches 2 and 3 against Mercy (KY) and Providence. Two crossover matches will follow. Let’s go Jasper!

A sneak peek into some of our silent auction items for next week’s special game in honor of Amy (Schmitt) Dekemper and Amy’s Army! These decorative plates will add the perfect touch to your home or office decor. We can’t wait to see the final designs once they are glazed and fired! All silent auction items will be available starting at 5:30pm next Thursday! The JV game will begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow.

On Thursday, September 17, Jasper will host Northeast Dubois in a JV & varsity match up. This game will be played in support of Amy (Schmitt) Dekemper who is currently battling cancer.

Amy and her husband Jason reside in Dubois with their two boys, Waylon and Wyatt. Amy, a 2008 JHS graduate, was a setter for the Jasper volleyball team from 2004 - 2007. She played on the teams that went to state in 2006 and 2007. She was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 when her youngest son was three months old. Amy underwent three surgeries and chemotherapy. After treatment she was told her cancer was in remission. In March of this year, Amy was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in her liver, bones, lungs, and brain. She recently finished radiation to her brain with favorable results and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Please show your support to Amy and her army! We will hold a silent auction, a bake sale, and tshirts will be pre-sold. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Amy and her family.

GAME DAY @ EVANSVILLE HARRISON

The freshmen team will travel to Evansville Harrison this evening to play in a freshmen league. They will play 2 games at 7:30 and 8:30. Let’s go Jasper!
