Oklahoma City leaders have approved final plans for a new indoor softball practice facility at Devon Park, a $25.4 million project funded through the City’s 2025 Bond program.

City officials are planning a groundbreaking ceremony in fall 2026, with construction expected to take about 18 months.

The new facility will be a 30,000-square-foot split-level brick building on the southwest side of Devon Park.

USA Softball of Indiana Summer Instructional and Exposure Clinic
August 2, 2026
Sunday 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
(Lunch break 12:30-1:30)
Center Grove Lassie League Park
110 N. Morgantown Rd.
Greenwood, IN 46142
For players ages 13-18 years old (Or entering Middle School-High School)
Cost: $165.00 per participant Early Bird,
$188.00 per participant after July 13
(Enrollment will be limited. Open to any and all entrants)

Institutes Confirmed to attend to instruct and recruit:
Purdue University
Evansville University
Butler University
University of Illinois Chicago
Austin Peay State University
Oakland University
Bellarmine University
Trine University
Calumet College of St. Joseph
Taylor University
College of Central Florida
(More instructors/coaches will be added as clinic fills to the predetermined participant limit)

Clinic will feature instruction from the above mentioned staff in the areas of offense, defense, pitching and catching. Sessions will feature skills evaluation/drills/controlled scrimmages and other informational sessions presented by the collegiate staff. There will also be a general question and answer for players, parents, and coaches attending the event. Pre-registration for this event is REQUIRED. Enrollment will be limited.
