This Memorial Day, all of us at CJR&PC pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice have protected the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are grateful for those who gave their lives in defense of our nation, and we keep their families and loved ones in our thoughts.

As you spend time with family and friends this holiday weekend, please take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.

☀️ Summer is here, and the range is getting busy — which makes safety more important than ever.

We’d like to remind all members to review the current Rules & Regulations (Version 47) and the Bylaws (10/2023). Many violations — especially safety violations — carry mandatory penalties, including automatic 6-month suspensions.

That means NO shooting, matches, events, or use of the club facilities (even as a guest or family member) for the entire summer season — and nobody wants that.

Please remember:
• There are no warnings for serious safety violations
• Many mandatory penalties are listed in the back of the monthly newsletter
• Unsafe behavior will result in being asked to leave the range immediately
• Security cameras monitor all ranges 24/7

Our goal is for everyone to have a safe, enjoyable summer at the club. Thank you for doing your part and helping keep the range safe for all members.

The New Jersey Legislature introduced a blanket mandate that would ban the use of lead ammunition for ALL hunting in the State!Assembly Bill 5021 and Senate Bill 4225 would phase out the use of lead ammunition for hunting within the next three years...

What does happen:

Club leadership reviews ideas on a regular basis
We look at things like safety, cost, effort, and overall member interest
Popular or practical ideas may get picked up, scheduled, or tested out

We’ll share updates when there’s something to report—usually through the newsletter, website, or at meetings.

Bottom line: even if you don’t see a reply here, your idea is being seen and considered.

Our live webcams are undergoing some fine tuning. As a result, we are seeing intermittent outages, which are actively being worked. Thank you for your patience while we work through these technical challenges.

Public comment is still open online. Please inform your fellow outdoorsmen and women about it.
The online public comment will close on June 5, 2026.
