The Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club www.cjrpc.com hosts the Jackson Hole Gang www.jacksonholegang.com home to Cowboy Action shooting in NJ. the JHG is a SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) affiliated club. This is a world wide organization with clubs in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and countries through the world. It is based on the happenings and life style of the Old West period from 18

60 to 1899. It is speed shooting at steel targets, with 4 guns, dressed like people from that era. there are swing targets, plate rack targets, poppers and birds, knockdown targets some big and some small. The SASS began back in the 1980's out west in California. There are State Regional National and World Championships shot all across the United States of America. It is a family oriented shooting organization. Kids to Elders, Men and Women of all ages. This is a great sport with amazing people from all walks of life.
