Family’s, a few notes regarding the upcoming week for Little League Baseball.

Late registrations:
In effort to make the experience best for ALL and to limit the amount of players per team, for the majors division, 12 year olds that register late will be placed in majors. 11 and 10 year olds that register late will not be guaranteed to be placed in majors and more than likely will be placed in minors regardless of the special circumstance that pertains to your late registration. Register ASAP to avoid any concerns. If you have a special circumstance as to why you cannot register now, reach out now.

Minors:
If you have registered to manage MINORS, the decision of who will manage will likely be made the day of evaluations. Until we know how many players will be in MINORS, not minors AA, we cannot decide on how many managers we need. Company that with the amount of players trying up and it is complex. If you put in to manage plan to attend evaluations and evaluate as if you are a manager.

Dear Parents & Players,

Baseball season is right around the corner and we want you know they are options for older players (13-16). If you would like to continue playing Little League baseball, now is the time to register for the spring baseball season.

Last year, we were able to roster three 60/90 Juniors Division teams (2 JLL and 1 HLL) and played a very fun and exciting season against each other & three other teams from our Little League district.

Jackson & Holbrook have merged into one league!!

1 Town, 1 Little League !!

IMPORTANT: Managers will draft teams after an evaluation session at the Holbrook facility scheduled for Saturday March 15th, tentatively 10am-2pm. Tryouts will only be 1-2 hours at most but we ask to be available from 10a-2p until we get closer to the date and can predict the weather as the tryouts will be both indoors at the Holbrook cages and outside on the 60/90 field. Players must be registered to tryout, all registered players will make a team.

Following last year’s spring 60/90 season, an All-Star team was formed and entered into the District 18 Intermediate 50/70 All-Star Tournament. Jackson LL beat Toms River & Toms River East twice to win the 2024 District 18 Championship.

1 Town, 1 Team will make us even stronger this year!!!

BASEBALL PLAYER EVALUATIONS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2025

Jackson Holbrook Little League is holding player evaluations on Saturday, FEBRUARY 22, 2025 at the CARL W GOETZ MIDDLE SCHOOL ( 835 PATTERSON RD, JACKSON, NJ 08527) for the Majors and Minors divisions only. Parents will sign in their player at the main entrance table in advance of their allotted evaluation time. Parents/Guardians are requested to wait outside the gym while their player is gathering and participating in the evaluations, No Parents/Guardians will be allowed past the sign in table. Please remember to bring your undated $200.00 work bond check made out to Jackson Holbrook Little League or a $250.00 buy out, we will also have credit card forms available if you do not have checks. Your check/credit card will not be cashed/charged as long as you fulfill your work bond duty sign up, which will be created in the near future.

It is mandatory that any 8 or 10 year old wishing to play up a division attend the evaluation (no exceptions).

Please have your child/children at the evaluation in accordance with the following schedule.

Division Last Name Starts With Time

Majors A to L 9:00 am
Majors M to Z 9:45 am
Majors 10 year olds trying up 10:30am

Minors A to L 11:15 am
Minors M to Z 12:00pm
Minors 8 year olds trying up 12:45pm

It is important to note that the schedule is an estimate and you should be prepared to spend time at the evaluation. We will do our best to complete the evaluations in a timely fashion. Players should have their glove, bat and helmet. If they do not have a bat or helmet one will be provided for them. Also, players should wear SNEAKERS ONLY.
Please make every effort possible to register for Majors and Minors age players by Friday, February 21. Late registrations may cause increased team sizes which may impact each child's playing time throughout the season.

Walk-In Registrations are welcome. We will have a laptop available if you still need to register.
