Central Michigan Mayhem

Central Michigan Mayhem Established in 2010, Central Michigan Mayhem is a non-profit women's flat track roller derby team.

Flat track roller derby is a fast-paced contact team sport that requires speed, strategy, and athleticism. The flat track version of the sport evolved in 2001, and has quickly grown to encompass more than 400 leagues worldwide.

Welcome Family, Friends, Followers, and Fans to the 2026-2027 Central Michigan Roller Derby season! We are so excited to get the wheels rolling on this season. Your first opportunity to see us in action at home will be on September 26th-doors open at 5:30. Watch for ticket links coming soon!

As we kick off the season, we'll introduce you to the variety of leadership needed to create a smooth running team! Our Board members, Committee Heads, and Co-Captains are elected by the league membership and serve for 2 years at a time.

Today, meet the 26-27 Board of Directors. Each season our board works hard to ensure that our league operates in a fair and welcoming manner and that the sport remains true to the spirit of cooperation and friendly competition.

Join us in another July birthday shout-out! Damsel of Distress #19 is Mayhem's Interleague Coordinator and ensures that we connect to other teams to play derby with! She's a top-notch people-finder, filling our NSO spots each game and building the relationships critical to ensuring our bouts run smoothly and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Mayhem would like to thank Traverse City Roller Derby for hosting another fun Cherry Rumble scim, and for hosting NoMad and Maza-Liam for a great Officiating clinic. Mayhem peeps participated in the officiating clinic, the all gender scrim and the rookie scrim. We all learned so much and had a great time! While we all know derby has risks as a full-contact sport, we are always sad when someone is injured; we are wishing them a speedy recovery!
