# 3 Michigan Warriors- 6

Another great showing from both squads when these guys meet up it’s always a dog fight the Tigers managed to squeeze this one out late in the game!

#1 Freeport Lions- 26
#4 Calvary Knights- 18

What a game this was the lions showed exactly why they hold the top spot in the MFL Rankings they fought hard and managed to squeeze out another win. But let’s really give praise to the Calvary Knights they traveled 5hrs one way and showed up against the number 1 team in the league and gave them a scare look for these guys to climb in the rankings and catch steam in the coming weeks!

#5 Joliet Buccaneers- 18
#6 Indy Assassins- 6

Joliet got the job done in big fashion these guys have been working hard all season and they can easily catch fire at any moment don’t sleep on the Bucs to make some noise! Indy is showing up healthier and better each week these guys are putting in the work and it’s starting to show keep grinding Indy the future is bright!

🚨 Week 2 Power Rankings 🚨

#1: Freeport Lions 5-1 Overall 3-0 League
The Lions are becoming the number one target they are setting the standard and playing some great ball for their first season in the MFL! Hats off to Chance and the guys over in Freeport.

#2: Motor City Tigers 2-1 Overall 2-0 League
These guys have done a complete 180 from last season! Their owner Nell has shifted gears in the right direction over this past offseason and it’s showing on the field!

#3 Michigan Warriors 1-3 Overall
Don’t sleep on the Warriors these guys compete at a high level and after actually a great showing against #2 this week and just falling short in the final minutes this team squeezed its way into the top 3 with games played! I can’t say enough about AJ and what he is doing over there at the Warriors he constantly is giving back to his community and offering some hard nose football for southern Michigan they will be on a mission now we believe!

#4 Muskegon Calvary Knights 1-0 Overall
Raining Runner up last season the knights are off to a what looks to be normal season in the MFL they look more put together than ever as they restructured a little bit and kept some really key pieces to their puzzle. As always Tito is top tier and continues to have a solid group year in and year out!

#5 Joliet Buccaneers 0-3 Overall
The Bucs have some catching up to do it’s time to hit practice extra hard and key in on a few small things that can get them in that win column but have shown they can put points on the board and stop teams Mike is doing a great job getting the guys better each week!

#6 Indy Assassins 0-1 Overall
Indy Indy Indy they are back in the MFL and looking to gain some much needed momentum I cant say enough about this group they show up they play football and they are top tier on their sportsmanship Darnell does a great job offering such a disciplined team.

Michigan Warriors- 🍩
Motor City Tigers- 6

The Tigers came out victorious with what was a defensive battle until the very last possession the Tigers went for it on 4th down finding their WR in the back of the end zone then followed with an onside kick recovery to seal the deal! The warriors fell short in their home opener but we strongly believe this will fuel them more than hurt them look for them to come out with a fire in their next matchup!

Freeport Lions- 34
Joliet Buccaneers- 8

Once again the Freeport Lions prove why they control Illinois by lighting up the scoreboard in this in state matchup! Joliet has some adjustments to make and will get back to the drawing board on this one and try to come out with a big win in their next matchup!

Joliet Buccaneers 🏴‍☠️ - 22 (0-2)

The Buccaneers traveled to Muskegon for what quickly turned into a shoot out both teams offenses came to play today moving the ball well and taking advantage of key miscues the defenses offered! The Knights pulled it out in the end but both teams showed up today great matchup Gentleman also hats off to Joliet on making the trip to Muskegon!

MCT 🐅 - 20 (1-0)
Assassins 🗡️- 6 (0-1)

The Tigers came out and took care of business today! The game started off in a 6-6 tie but the Tigers quickly made the adjustments they needed to pull away in big fashion! Hats off to the Assassins for making the long travel to Detroit your commitment is not unnoticed keep working fellas!

Freeport Lions 🦁 - 21 (2-0)
Tri-City Stampede 🐂 - 🍩 (0-1)

The Stampede decided due to lack of player commitment that they would be unable to make the travel to Freeport in what looked to be the game of the week with a very HOT Lions team facing off against the raining MFL 2A Champions in the Stampede!
