Before we wrap up another great Men’s Member-Guest, I want to take a few minutes to thank all of you for participating and for making this tournament such a special event.
Hillendale would not be Hillendale without our incredible staff. I want to recognize Ronda Williamson, Denice Markley, Harold Neiss and John Heichel. Each of them has taken on additional responsibilities, many of them unexpected and certainly not easy, to help keep this club moving forward. Their hard work, dedication, and positive attitudes are a huge part of what makes Hillendale successful.
Our success also depends on the support of our members and volunteers. Randy Hoover seems to drop whatever he’s doing in his own business whenever I call for help. Eric Banta has somehow managed to keep my equipment running through this hard Spring. DJ Williamson has never hesitated to help, even when I ask for things that seem impossible.
I’d also like to thank our volunteers: Ken Oliver, Chad Lansing, Damien Vogtman, Ray Whittaker, Derek Pawlewicz, Rick Pawlewicz, Will Robinson, Gene Ward, Amy Townsend, Bill Walsh, Kathy and Mark Notarfonzo, Allison Gardner, Jamie and Jake Williamson, Tim Kessler and June Gee. Your willingness to give your time and energy makes events like this possible.
Most importantly, I want to thank all of you—the members and guests. Your support of Hillendale, your friendships, your sportsmanship, and your ability to enjoy golf, enjoy life, and have fun together are what make this club special. The golf is important, but the memories, the laughs, the stories, and the friendships are what truly define this weekend.
Thank you for supporting Hillendale through both the good times and the difficult ones. Thank you for making this Member-Guest another tremendous success.
Please join me in thanking everyone who helped make this weekend possible, and let’s look forward to many more great years together at Hillendale.
