What an amazing day! We cannot thank our community enough for coming out and supporting the IFA Blazers at today’s fundraiser grilling!

The morning started out a little soggy, but just as we were getting ready to serve, the weather broke, and our community showed up in a big way. Your support is truly incredible, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who stopped by, made a donation or supported our players in any way. To the semi drivers that laid on their horn as they drove by the kids, you have no idea how much that refueled their fire.

A special thank you to Rock-C for the use of their lot, Hy-Vee and Fareway for their generous food donations, Green Belt Bank & Trust for allowing us to use their grill, and Pete Bartlet for the use of his tent. Your generosity helped make today’s fundraiser possible!

The money raised will go directly toward uniforms, tournament fees, and specialty coaching expenses. Your support provides these young athletes with opportunities to grow, compete, and develop both on and off the court.

Thank you for believing in the IFA Blazers and investing in our kids. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a generous and supportive community!

🔥🔥 TOMORROW IS THE DAY! 🔥🔥

The grills will be fired up, and the IFA Blazers will be serving delicious pork burgers beginning at 11:00 a.m.! Come hungry, bring your family and friends, and help us make this fundraiser a huge success! 🍔🏀

⛈️ Don’t let the weather scare you away! If storms are still in the area at 11:00, we’ll have everything ready and start serving as soon as they clear out.

🔥 The IFA Blazers are firing up the grill! 🔥

Join us Saturday, August 29, in the Rock-C grass lot on Highway 65, just across from Dairy Queen! We’ll start serving at 11:00 a.m. and keep grilling until the food runs out!

We are incredibly grateful for the support our community has shown us. Your encouragement and generosity mean so much to our players and families, and we can’t wait to see what this upcoming season has in store!

This 8th-grade group went 3–0 again this weekend at our home tournament at Ellsworth Community College, finishing undefeated in both home tournaments with an overall record of 6–0.

This team is the definition of unselfish, team-first basketball. They have a bright future ahead as they begin their high school careers next season, and it’s going to be fun to watch what they can accomplish together over the next four years.

We had a great tournament this weekend with a lot of good games! It takes a team to put these together and make them run smoothly. This weekend went about as well as it could have! Thank you to Nate Forsyth (ECC Athletic Director) for teaming up with me and putting this together. Thank you to his entire team helping set up, run the concessions, take admissions, and tear down. Thanks to Coach Bender and his players for running the scores tables and interacting with the kids throughout the day. Thank you to all of the officials for working many games each and keeping the kids safe out on the floor. Thank you to all the coaches and teams that participated and played some great games! And last but not least, thank you to all the parents and family members that support these kids and help them live out their dream of basketball!

We had some great basketball at our home tournament at Ellsworth Community College this weekend! The Iowa Falls teams represented our community very well! The 5th grade CBC team went 3-0 to win their first tournament, the 6th grade CBC team went 2-1, and the 8th graders IFA Blazers went 3-0 to bring home the medal! To say the 5th graders were excited for their first medal is an understatement! Full Swing from Ft Dodge went 3-0 to win the 6th grade division!

The 8th grade Blazers did an AWESOME job at our home tournament at Ellsworth Community College this weekend! They went 3-0 against some tough competition to bring home another medal. This group defines unselfish play and are a lot of fun to watch! These boys have some fun days ahead of them together on the court!
