This is Kaden, Dr. Ross and Dr. Amy's oldest son.
He's 8 years old and rolled his ankle at soccer yesterday.
Like most young athletes, his first concern wasn't how bad it hurt—it was whether he'd be able to get back out there and play.
Today, Dr. Ross used focused shockwave therapy to help stimulate the healing process and support the body's natural recovery.
After treatment, he asked Kaden one question:
"Does it feel better, worse, or the same?"
Kaden's answer:
"Better."
As parents, it's never easy watching your kids get hurt.
As healthcare providers, there's nothing better than helping people get back to doing what they love.
Whether you're 8 or 80, the goal is the same: help the body heal, restore function, and get back to life.
If you or your child are dealing with a sports injury, focused shockwave therapy may be an option worth exploring.
