🔔🚨If you are attending sunset YOGA at the park this evening 9/3——This class will be beginner friendly gentle yoga, accessible for all! Please remember to bring your own mat and some water! It’s hot out but there is usually a very nice breeze at the shelter! 6:45-7:30 see you soon!

Soon this park will be temporarily closed, and even though I am resistant to change, I know it will be for the better. I am sentimentality connected to this park. During a time of social distancing, closing my studio 2x due to mandatory shutdowns. Kenton County Parks & Recreation gave us a place to move & connect. Do I think the new park will be just as beautiful and needed in a world that often seems disconnected from nature? Yes. Will I be teaching 2 FREE classes 9/3 and 9/10 before it is closed 9/14? YES

Dear Dolly, give a warm hug to this lady. Who worked a very hard ass 9 to 5. Supporting 4 girls and a grandchild.
I applaud her and appreciate her for her courage and dedication to put a roof over our heads, put food on the table and put up with some serious bu****it from as****es on that Railroad but also, that 9-5 took time away from us. We raised ourselves. The 9-5 40-60+hrs a week (not the flex you think it is)needs to be reevaluated. Working our asses off, stressing ourselves out, sometimes to death? for what? Someone else’s dream. Dolly said it best.. “just another step on the boss man’s ladder.” the math ain’t mathing. Dolly, it’s still NOT mathing.
“Working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living. Barely getting by, it's all taking and no giving. They just use your mind and they never give you credit.”
Rest in those stars to both of these queens. ⭐️ my mom eventually became the as****es boss. 💅👑

Story time/Reminder/& a FYI
“Unclench your jaw”—- I’ve said this many times in class but recently I had to say this to my dog. He decided to see what the frog in this photo taste like. 🐸
This brown frog is mildly toxic. Which made the Moose dog pretty sick for about 24 hrs 🫪. When humans clench their jaw in dentistry we call this bruxism (potentially leading to breaking teeth/headaches/joint pain). In yoga, I call this a stress induced habit. We don’t even realize we are doing it until we bring our awareness in to the body.
The moral of the story is…get to class tonight at 6:45 and unclench your damn jaw.
