🏀 Shoutout to our Coach and fearless leader, Coach Hudgens! 🏀

Coach Hudgens has an incredible basketball journey that spans over 30 years. From his early days at Stephens Elementary to Conner Middle and High School, Coach Hudge's dedication and hard work paid off. After not making the 6th-grade basketball team, he was determined to play. Returning the following year, he not only made the 7th-grade team but became one of the starters. Even though he didn't play in college, Coach Hudge had the opportunity to play one year in semi-pro for the Cincinnati Century. Talk about passion for the game! 💪

Throughout his basketball career, Coach Hudgens has played different positions, starting as a center and then transitioning to shooting guard (SG) and power forward (PF). But what Coach Hudgens loves most about basketball is building that team chemistry. He believes that when a team comes together and trusts each other, the game becomes incredibly smooth. And let's not forget the thrill of dunking in his youth - it's a feeling like no other!

As a coach for the KY Enforcers, Coach Hudgens's favorite part is witnessing the progress of the kids year after year. He cherishes the close bond and exceptional teamwork that the team exhibits. The players' energy and unique personalities make coaching easy and enjoyable. Coach Hudgen’s faith and sense of humor shine through in his coaching style, always encouraging his players to be their best selves on and off the court.

Coach Hudgens lives by the words of Michael Jordan: "Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen." This quote reflects his relentless determination and drive to achieve greatness, like his favorite athlete, Michael Jordan. And when it comes to music, one of Coach Hudgen's favorite songs is "Du Hast" by Rammstein, while his go-to movie is the classic comedy Dumb and Dumber.
