A Second Marlin Was Just Caught aboard the Monte Carlo!
Recently as reported... On August 16th the crew of the Four Sea'sons caught a State of Washington Record with their 151 pound, 8' 5" Marlin caught while Tuna Fishing!
And now just two weeks to the date of that incredible catch the crew of the Monte Carlo caught one of their own! August 29th anglers; Cody Myers and David Sanderson teamed up to reel in their beautiful Marlin!
HISTORY IS REBORN!
Ernest Hemingway penned his famous novel "The Old Man and the Sea" telling the story of an incredible Marlin caught in the early days of the fishery.
Today that legend is reborn in our Little Hamlet By The Sea... Ilwaco, WA. Rare is it that a Marlin is caught this far North and none have been brought into port in our lifetime but in little less than two weeks 2 Incredibly Large, Big, Beautiful, Blue Striped Marlin have now been caught and brought into Port. SALMON UPDATE:
Early Limits for all of our Sea Breeze boats today! Full Limits on Salmon with boats returning to port as early as 8:30 - 10:30 am. Chinook continue to be the biggest surprise of the season! Several being caught daily in the 10-25 pound range! Our anglers are simply amazed at how bright and beautiful these fish are and what a great opportunity it has been to catch them. Coho are also showing up in larger numbers now and we are rounding out our fish boxes with them.
ALBACORE TUNA UPDATE:
An overnight charter boat departed Ilwaco yesterday Tuesday July 7th and returned to port this afternoon with a score of 130 Tuna!! Simply incredible that they sat right down on a massive school of Albacore that were biting on trolled jigs, live bait, iron, and jack poles. Sea Breeze has several Tuna charters scheduled July - September 20th. In fact we have open seats on July 26th, and several dates in August and September. If you have a group that would like to go right a way please give us a call and we would be happy to open up a date for you.

The Chinook's continue to be caught off Long Beach, WA in shallow water of approx. 50-60'. And the biggest surprise to the start of our Salmon season is the size of the Chinooks. We are catching Chinook's in the 10-25 pound range which is incredible for this time of year! As an added bonus to our anglers we are running light loads through the July 4th Holiday Weekend and into Mid July. Hello Sea Breeze Anglers:
Opening Day of Salmon Season June 20th was nothing short of EPIC! Nearly all of our 7 boats fished for Salmon on Opening Day and all returned with limits on Chinook/King Salmon. The Monte Carlo led the way catching 18 Chinooks, 5 of which had to be released due to catching our legal limit early in the morning as well as finding and catching 7 Coho to round out their fish boxes. Beautiful Chinooks many of which were in the 10-20 pound class were caught which was simply incredible! It was truly EPIC Fishing out there!
On Sunday June 21st we switched gears and dispatched nearly all of our boats to the Halibut Grounds. And for the 7th consecutive week of Halibut fishing our boats all returned to port with limits. In addition to beautiful Halibut several boats caught Ling Cod, Black Cod, and Rockfish to round out their fish boxes.
Smiles were observed from every angler stepping off our boats at the end of their respective trips!
If you have been waiting to hear how our season is shaping up we would suggest that we are off to an incredible start and the prospect ahead looks very favorable.
Plenty of seats open for the balance of June and well into mid July!
