As I get busier and busier organizing the Idyllwild Yoga & Wellness Festival my own personal practice becomes more and more important. Sometimes a s a yoga teacher I find myself doing anything but yoga asana. Who else can relate? 😅😔

As a yoga teacher and business owner, I wear a lot of hats. Like so many of us, I spend so much time taking care of everyone and everything else that it’s easy to put my own needs last.

I’ve realized that I don’t always need an hour-long practice. Sometimes, simply walking over to my yoga deck and giving myself 10 intentional minutes is enough to completely shift how I feel. Self-care isn’t about finding more time—it’s about making the time you have truly count. Those 10 minutes can give you so much more than you ever expected.

What’s one small thing you can do for yourself today? ✨

Yes, you can do aerial yoga ✨

Aerial yoga is much more accessible than most people think. My classes are beginner-friendly and tailored to all levels, whether you’re looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or simply relax and have fun.

I offer:
• Aerial Beginner Yoga — Wednesdays & Saturdays
• Aerial Restorative Yoga — Sundays for extra comfort, support, and deep relaxation

Come hang out in the mountains, move your body, and try something new 🌲

Here are some ways you can work with me:
Next time you visit Idyllwild, book a private yoga class.
If you want to make it extra special, add a 30-minute sound bath.
You can also book a private aerial class—or even better, a private aerial sound bath.
I can come to you, or you can come to one of my locations. I have a beautiful outdoor yoga deck if you want to be in nature, or a cozy yurt.
You can also book me for a Thai massage or join one of my weekly classes.

I’d the link in my bio to book 🙂Hope to see you soon!

If you visited Idyllwild, what experience would you book first?

I’m so grateful to be living in such a wonderful place.
Idyllwild is full of amazing people, art, and healing. Some say this place is magical and healing and I get to walk these mountains every day 💚

People sometimes ask me, “What do you do for a living?”

And it’s a little hard to answer… because yes, I am a yoga teacher—but I don’t just teach yoga.

I create spaces for people to celebrate special occasions mindfully.
I create workshops where people can express themselves and free themselves from what’s holding them back.
I teach breathwork to help rewire the brain and become your best self.
I offer sound healing so people can reset their nervous system.

I bring people together—people who are seeking mindfulness, connection, and well-being.

So yes, I am a yoga teacher…
but I also inspire others to live their best lives with an open heart.

And I’m so grateful for what I get to do 🤍

Some moments from my trip to Florida 🤍

I went into this trip with the intention of recharging and creating memories with my family and loved ones. I also wanted to stay healthy and not over eat like we sometimes do on vacation.

Here’s how I kept things balanced:

I did something active every day. It’s honestly easier when you’re around people who encourage it or join you. My husband is my fitness buddy, and he’s always planning little activities around movement.

We rode bikes to the beach
I walked to get coffee in the morning
Played pickleball with my in-laws
Played in the pool with my nieces
Went mini golfing
Helped cook and clean in the kitchen
And I took my grandma on a walk

I’m a big fan of walking—not just for exercise, but as a way to connect. Walking the dog, walking with a friend instead of sitting down… it’s a great way to add steps/ exercise without feeling like a workout.

I also focused on eating well without being restrictive. I didn’t snack much between meals, shared bigger plates with family instead of having full portions, and shared desserts. We even found a spot with vegan ice cream sweetened with dates (so good!).

And something that felt really important… I made time to be present. I wasn’t on my phone much, didn’t take a ton of pictures, and just enjoyed being with my family—especially my grandma. She’s 88 and doing amazing, and those moments meant everything.

I also made sure to give myself quiet time to meditate—both in the morning and before bed.

So here’s a little glimpse of my trip… and a reminder that staying healthy on vacation doesn’t have to feel strict. It can feel natural, connected, and actually enjoyable 😊

How do you stay healthy on vacation?

This past week has been one of the busiest weeks I’ve had. Not here to brag, but to express gratitude and share the joy.

There’s a Buddhist tradition where, when someone experiences good fortune, they hang colorful flags outside their home as a way of sharing that joy with others 😊

I hope good fortune comes your way as well—along with joy and infinite happiness.

What was your most joyful experience this past week? Help me share joy by commenting yours!
