Biggest Retreat we have done so far . A fantastic group of highly motivated and talented individuals raising the standard in their industry and seeking growth . Thanks especially to for trusting us , to Executive Chef for the incredible cuisine , to and for the meats, to for the food prep, for keeping us caffeinated, to for a wonderful night out , to for the florals and all our friends in for the support . This project was born from our talented team so thanks to all of them too . This was an important string to add to our bow as we ourselves seek growth, adventure and enterprise and we are grateful to all those who enable us to dream with courage .

So proud of everyone today as they endured Murph . 1 Mile Run/100 Pull Ups /200 Push Ups/300 Squats /1 Mile Run . Many had never done it before but didn’t flinch at going for it , breaking through physical and mental barriers . All to honor and remember our friend and Navy Seal Mark Crampton and to help raise money for , a charity that offers combat veterans an alternative solution for defining and approaching their physical and mental scars. This Memorial Day weekend we will be hosting a special “Murph.”
Mark Crampton served 27 years on active duty in the Naval Special Warfare community. He held multiple leadership positions from Leading Petty Officer, Platoon Chief and Command Master Chiefs of SEAL Team SEVEN, SEAL Team ONE and the Naval Special Warfare Center (BUD/S). He was a member of the Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team and he also served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Special Operations Directorate of Iraq. He completed 10 deployments to Southeast and Southwest Asia, one deployment to Afghanistan and two deployments to Iraq.
In March of 2021 Emylee and I began working with Mark. After a lifetime in the Navy Seals, Mark had learned some valuable lessons in leadership that he felt compelled to pass on. He was kind enough to share his story on the podcast and we formed a great relationship. In the heart of the pandemic, when the world was forced to stand still, Mark helped us move forward.
Mark passed away last month by su***de. We were shocked and heartbroken. Our thoughts were immediately with Sarah and Sean who are members of the club and friends to many of us. We wish to honor and remember him, as well as raise awareness of a condition that is far too common among veterans in America .
This Memorial Day weekend we will be doing “Murph for Mark“ at both Pharos Athletic Club and Pharos Mountain Lodge. We are also inviting all of our online community. We will be raising money in Mark’s name for Heroes and Horses, a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer combat veterans an alternative solution for defining and approaching their physical and mental scars. All donations will go directly to this organization with the blessing of Mark’s family. So please join us on Sunday May 29th from 10am PST and sweat for something. There will be scaling options so that ALL can attend. We hope to come together with a bigger purpose.
