Our 3rd LCM Meet (and more than 1/2 way through the LCM Season) saw our swimmers continue their outstanding long course season as they achieved 70% best times over the 3 days of competition. New Senior Champ qualifying times were achieved by Maddux, Luke, Emmy, and Claire.

Brady set 3 new team records in the 19&o 50 free and 50/100 breast

Bella added a bonus cut in the 50 free to her USA Swimming Summer Junior National event line up.

Next up is the Aquajets Prelim/Final Meet for the qualified 13&o next weekend at the U of M and the Hastings SCY Meet.

Our 2nd LCM Meet of the Season saw outstanding swims from all of the swimmers as they achieved 70% best times over the 4 days of competition. New Senior Champ qualifying times were achieved by Emmy (1st Sr Champ cut), Claire, Rhett (1st Sr Champ cut) and Owen.
The boys (Owen, Luke and Maddux) used best times in the 100 back, 100 breast and 100 fly to qualify the 400 Medley relay for Speedo Sectionals and are .02 from qualifying the 400 free relay.
Bella qualified for her first USA Swimming Summer Junior Nationals in the 50 fly and a bonus cut in the 100 fly

Next up is the NSAC Summer Jam next weekend at the U of M

What an amazing finish to the Kona Senior Invite! Final day included the 200 IM (Ethan making it back and finishing with a PB), 50 free (Ethan making it back and he and Zach finishing with PBs), 1650 - highlight event for Mako Aquatics as Marley (7th), AJ (5th) and Rich (8th) all made the podium with Zach finishing 12th. All 4 raced to PBs with Rich getting his 1st Senior Champ cut. The night concluded with the Mixed 200 Free Relay and lifetime best splits along with a PB lead off for AJ.
Everyone showed resilience and determination throughout the meet; having overcome the severe weather related travel delays, racing double digit number of events prelims/finals over 4 days here in Kona! Congratulations to all!
