Mako Aquatics is a USA Swimming competitive swim team within Minnesota Swimming Inc. Our athletes range in age from 6 to 60, and include the novice swimmer to the elite competitor to the Master swimmers. We compete in the Twin Cities metro area, and train year round at the Hudson Middle School. Day 4 in Irvine got started right away with the 50 fly as the first event of the session. Bella was just off her entry time but finished where she was seed. Tomorrow is the final day of competition with Bella racing the 50 free at approximately 10:40am PT

Outstanding Day 3 in Irvine as Bella moved from a 91 seed to finish 42nd with a .53 time drop in the 100 fly (1:02.38) achieving her first Winter Juniors cut along with moving from the summer Juniors bonus cut to the actual cut. In addition, she broke the 2018 15-16 Team Record which is also the fastest all-time 100 fly for Mako Aquatics girls/women!

Day 2 from Irvine, CA and Speedo Junior Nationals saw Bella race for the first time at the meet with her 100 free TT. After several hours in the sun she swam just off her best time. Tomorrow she competes in the 100 fly, scheduled to start around 10:30am PT.
