We are thrilled to be supporting Movement Day in support of Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood! We love our chosen home and are canceling classes in Hudson on Saturday 9/19 and Arielle will be teaching at 10am at Oakdale Beach for beach yoga! We did it last year and it was a BLAST ❤️

Come support Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood, Inc. - a local organization that provides critical resources for our direct community with us! There’s yoga at 10, and then a running relay and cross training workout at noon with raffles and prizes and swag!

We are thrilled to introduce Sarah to the Lava teaching team! Sarah Willis has been doing and teaching yoga all over NY, and internationally, since the 90’s! From Jivamukti and Ashtanga roots, she’s also certified in prenatal yoga, and a student of Sanskrit and Vipassana meditation, and a proud mom. Her classes combine instruction on breath & alignment technique and guiding intuitive vinyasa flow, with great playlists, and humor, because in Yoga, as in life, we cannot take it all too seriously.

You can find Sarah in Catskill on Friday mornings at 7:15am starting tomorrow!

Sculpt at Lava is growing, and we are so excited to welcome longtime Lava yogi to the Sculpt team!

Tanya is a full time oncology treatment nurse. After earning her RN degree in 2008, specializing in cancer care, she began to rely on yoga and cardio fitness to maintain a healthy life work balance, manage stress, and boost energy. With a fitness background rooted in competitive gymnastics, Tanya enjoys bridging the flexibility and strength regimens of her past with the breathwork and mindfulness inherent in traditional yoga practice. Forever fascinated with the endurance and resilience of the body, as well as the will and determination of the mind, Tanya hopes to lead classes at Lava that inspire both physical challenge and spiritual growth.
Originally from downstate, Tanya has lived in Catskill for 18 years. Passions include gardening (poppies!), cooking, and spending time with her two teenage boys, carpenter husband, dog Abraham, and cat Cleo.

Tanya is not on Instagram (so smart tbh!) so we can’t tag her, but you can find her IRL on Wednesdays at 6pm in Catskill for Sculpt starting this Wednesday!
