Ventured into the Seney National Wildlife Refuge for the first time. Wow! I didn’t know what to expect, but it delivered in its name. Loons, swans, turtles, beaver, grouse. The 7 mile dirt road loop is worth the time! (And if you have more time, there’s another 90,000 acres to explore.)

This weekend! The 15th annual Flèche du Nord! 70 miles of pavement, dirt, gravel and snow. Unsupported and non-competitive; bring snacks, water, spare tubes and a pump. It’s looking like a great day to be out on the bike in the Keweenaw. 11 roll out from downtown Copper Harbor Saturday 5/9.
