Another Copper Harbor Trails Fest in the books - perfect weather, great turnout and tight racing all weekend long. Thanks to everyone at Copper Harbor Trails Club and all the volunteers and sponsors for making it happen! Always a highlight of summer for riders far and wide.

How can it be September!? The Copper Harbor Trails Fest might mean the end of summer - but it also means one last hurrah with bikes, music, friends, art, food and bevies. The weather is looking good a week out and new trails are in the works. Cross is coming! This year’s 7-race UPCROSS series kicks off at the Fit Strip 8/30. Keweenaw riders are stoked to have the Keweenaw Cup back on the schedule on 10/11. Event details on the upcross page!

It’s Great Deer Chase weekend on the Swedetown Trails in Calumet! 8, 15 and 30 mile races plus an adventure ride option and races for kids. Race in the morning, hit Pasty Fest in the afternoon!

August! Featuring more Copper Harbor Point Trail magic. Phase three takes riders to the tip of the Keweenaw into a landscape that’s bouncing back after a forest fire burned over 100 acres 20 years ago. The trunks of burned out trees remain and new growth is taking over.

Copper Harbor’s Point Trail is full of surprises - like the tall pines and steep hillside along Schlatter Lake near the tip of the Keweenaw. The sometimes sandy, sometimes hard-packed trail snakes through the pines around the lake and is always a good time on the ride out to Fish Cove (if you can avoid the occasional sand snakes in the corners!
