Had an awesome group of four join 2989 Charters, LLC on Saturday for a fun day on the water!

They landed several bull reds, battled more sharks than we needed to see, boxed some nice trout, and capped off the day with a couple of sheepshead, reds, and puppy drum.

They kept those Kistler Rods doubled over all day using dem Campo's Marina live shrimp.

Full days, good company, and plenty of action—including dolphin tours. Those tax men seem to be everywhere!

If you've been thinking about booking a trip, don't wait any longer. July still has a few open dates available, but they're filling up fast.

Come make some memories and put some fish in the box!

Day 2 of the Chalmette Refining Fishing Rodeo was a success!

We couldn't control the weather. Did we have a lot of wind, some rain, and dirty water? Absolutely!

But those conditions only made this group fish harder, and the results proved they were willing to battle the elements.

They did a great job loading the tables with fish, thanks to their hard work, along with their Kistler Rods and live shrimp from Campo's Marina .

If you're not on the books yet, now is the time. We still have dates available in July, and June 14 is the only remaining opening in June.

Day 1 of the Chalmette Refining Fishing Rodeo in the books. Crew did awesome in all of the wind with those Kistler Rods and Campo's Marina Live Shrimp. Managed their limit of reds, then we went hunting for other species.

On to tomorrow. See if we cant get them some fatter reds!

Ran a trip for for the Dude Dudenhefer's Fishing Charters, Inc.

Whether it’s a trip with friends, quality time with family, or showing your employees some appreciation, we’ve got you covered!

Had an awesome group of five out yesterday with one goal in mind — load the boxes with fish. Safe to say that goal was accomplished!

Those Kistler Rods stayed bent all day long as we traded Campo's Marina live shrimp for nonstop action and full cleaning tables.

Took Mrs. 29°89° out for her Mother’s Day fishing trip today, and needless to say, the ladies put a smackdown on the Bay Snapper before the rain ran us off around 10:30! 🎣🔥

The box was loaded with a good mixed assortment, and those Kistler Rods paired with fresh shrimp from Campo's Marina kept the rods bent all morning long. We had plans to hit a few more spots, but after all that action, those moms had enough excitement for one day! 😄

Ran a solo mission after clients cancelled right as that severe weather cleared out—and going turned out to be the right call.

Scouted around, found some clean water, and absolutely smacked the trout. Ended up landing multiple gator trout with those Kistler Rods using some Campo's Marina live shrimp, and what started as a rough morning turned into one of those beautiful days you don’t forget.
This bite is heating up, and when conditions line up like this, it doesn’t stay quiet for long.

Proud dad moment 💙

LEAP testing is right around the corner, and I’m just grateful to be able to show up and support my girl every step of the way.

We’re cheering on all these kiddos—showing up, doing their best, and pushing through 💪

I love being able to stand behind them while also building something for our future 🙌

Because it’s bigger than a t-shirt…
it’s about showing up for our kids and our community.

Wind… ✔️
Hard falling tide… ✔️
Box full of reds… ✔️

This couple put in the work and made it happen despite some tough conditions. High, dirty water and current flowing like it was fleeing a crime scene. Nothing was stopping them from putting together a limit of beautiful redfish—then keeping the action going with catch-and-release.

We know we’ll be begging for a breeze soon enough… but for now, somebody needs to pull the chain on that fan two times and turn it down some.

Conditions aren’t always perfect, but the fish are there—and we know how to stay on them.

We’ve still got a couple weekend days opening available in April and May. If you’re ready to get on the water, let’s make it happen.
