Stone Oak Country Club is conveniently located in the center of the Stone Oak community in Holland, Ohio. Nestled in the heart of 525-acres of land, Stone Oak Country Club offers its Members first class service and facilities. From the English manor-style Clubhouse, to the stunning 18-hole golf course, Stone Oak Members know they can count on the best of everything Northwest Ohio has to offer. The

grounds of Stone Oak are some of the most spectacular in the area. Our Director of Grounds and his staff work year round to bring out the best of the four seasons. Stone Oak always presents itself grandly to its Members and their guests. The signature oak trees are prevalent throughout the course, lending a complimentary back-drop to the superbly landscaped golf course where every view is exceptional. Stone Oak Country Club was founded in 1921 and was originally known as Glengarry Country Club. For 65 years, Glenngarry Country Club existed in this location with a Clubhouse and golf course carved through the dense forest. The original Clubhouse, which resembled a large blue barn with a wrap around porch, stood in the very same location that exists today. In the mid-1980's the Glengarry Clubhouse fell victim to a destructive fire and, as a result, the Clubhouse burnt to the ground. In 1988, the Club was acquired by Cavalear Properties Limited Partnership and in 2001, ownership was transferred to the Membership of Stone Oak Country Club. Throughout this time, Stone Oak has developed into a popular, upscale residential country club community.

July may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of summer fun ahead at Stone Oak! ☀️

Here's what's coming up:

🎬 Pool Movie Night – Friday, July 31 | 9pm – 11pm
Enjoy swimming under the lights with music, floaties, and a screening of Finding Dory. This event is free, but please RSVP by calling the Club.

🎄 Christmas in July Couples Twilight – Friday, July 31 | 5:30pm Shotgun Start
Grab your spouse for 9 holes of golf with a festive Christmas in July theme. Sign up on ForeTees or in the Golf Shop. An optional buffet will follow.

🎨 Craft & Create – Friday, August 7 | 5pm – 9pm
Kids will create colorful pony bead jewelry to take home during this month's Craft & Create night. Children ages 2–12 are welcome. $22 includes babysitting and dinner. Parents must remain on Club property.

🏓 Pickleball Mixer – Friday, August 21 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Whether you're an experienced player or brand new to the game, everyone is welcome! Beginners can arrive at 5:30pm for a crash course before the mixer begins. $5 per person. Sign up on ForeTees.

🎶 Jazz Night – Saturday, August 22 | 8pm – 10pm
Enjoy an evening of live jazz featuring Nicole Shetterly. $10 for Members | $15 for non-members. RSVP by calling the Club or emailing [email protected].

Summer fun continues at Stone Oak, and there’s plenty to look forward to in July!

Kids Fun Night returns on July 9th and July 23rd with FUN, FUN, and more FUN! Our Head Tennis Professional, Matt, brings a wide variety of games including dodgeball, soccer, hot feet, slip ‘n slide, gladiator, tennis ball games, an ice cream station, greased watermelon and much more. Available for kids ages 5 and up from 6pm - 8:30pm.

Christmas in July is coming to the pool on Saturday, July 25th! Deck the halls with holiday cheer poolside with festive music, decorations, candy canes, and a surprise visitor from the North Pole. Pictures with Santa will be available from 1pm - 2pm.

Couples Twilight wraps up the month on Friday, July 31st with a Christmas in July theme! Grab your spouse and enjoy a festive evening on the course as the sun sets.

In the interest of safety for all Members and guests the July 3rd event this evening has been cancelled by the Fire Marshall.

The fireworks will still go off this evening at dusk - weather permitting. If there is lightning in the area before dusk, the fireworks might have to go off earlier or later than planned.

We understand that this is not the turnout that we hoped for - but safety must be the top priority.

Independence Day weekend is almost here, and we have a full lineup of summer fun planned at Stone Oak! From fireworks and family activities to poolside games and friendly competition, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Join us on July 3rd for our annual Independence Day Celebration featuring inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, dinner stations and a spectacular fireworks display. Then keep the fun going on July 4th with our annual Pool Party, complete with giant inflatables, lawn games, a slip and slide, water balloon toss and the always entertaining Dads' Cannonball Competition.
We can't wait to celebrate with you!
