Construction has begun on Taylor Meadows Golf Course (Taylor, Michigan), a 1980s design from Arthur Hills being renovated by Hills • Forrest • Smith. The second HFS project for the city this year, the 18-hole public course is a green oasis and stormwater detention facility in a busy urban setting, including airline traffic from nearby Detroit Metro. The plan, executed by Wadsworth Golf Construction and course superintendent Daniel Heidt, includes
rebuilding bunkers, adding tees, improving drainage and enlarging the irrigation lake.

"Before and After" photos from what has been a productive five weeks at Ohio's Kenilworth Farms. We added over 3,000 square feet of green (in the left approach area) plus a new left-side bunker and then renovated the two existing bunkers. It was all made possible through the skillful efforts of Tyler Topp's dedicated team from TOPPshape and, of course, golf course superintendent Nathan Zuver. We joke with Nate that he has either "the best” or “the hardest” job in golf as he is a “one-man band” at this private 9-tee, par-3 private course near Columbus. Many thanks to Nate, Tyler and the Owner for providing Hills • Forrest • Smith with this fun opportunity.
