No lack of heat for our race night out at ThunderHill for the Cothran/Hickerson Memorial!🔥🥵
Tyler took out on the night hot lapping second overall of the 11 car field. Qualifying was shortly after and he shook out in that same position of second. He started on the pole of the second heat. The outside car had the advantage on the start. Zero shade to them. This class is extremely competitive and you have to take it when it’s given. We’ve agreed to disagree with the track owner and moved on. No hate, no drama. It’s just understood, and will be handled on starts moving forward. The feature came and we didn’t have nothing for those guys out front. We were struggling to even keep up. The set up was good but the motor wasn’t turning rpm’s like it should be and was weak on power. Tyler said, “He was pushing it through the fire wall and felt the motor was ‘flat’ getting off the corners.” He did what he could and finished the night out where he started in fourth. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It’ll likely be some late nights in the shop this week to figure out what is going on with this motor. Hopefully in time to see you all out somewhere next week. 🤙🏼 Thank you to Wayne for being there with us and always being quick to jump in to help.
